W-2 Mortgage FAQ
Common questions from W-2 borrowers.
What documents do W-2 borrowers need?
Usually recent pay stubs, W-2s from the last two years, bank statements and identification.
I also have side income. Does it count?
It may, if it’s documented and consistent. If most of your income is self-employment, bank statement loans may fit better.
Does pre-qualifying affect my credit?
Starting the pre-qualification questions does not affect your credit score.
